The Sun Inn is a grade II listed building and has
recently undergone extensive renovations to transform it into a warm, welcoming dining pub.
It is a family orientated pub that welcomes children and dogs.
What we're passionate about
Field to fork
Good quality meat is at the forefront of all of our dishes.
Our farm is made up of rare breed cows, sheep and pigs, with the vision to create a field to fork business.
Our belted galloway cows, affectionately known as the oreo cow for their white stripe, are reared for their quality, marbled beef and the meat is hung for 30 days.
Supporting your Local
We're also big on 'Supporting your local.' We believe that by buying locally we can reduce our food miles and in turn reduce our carbon footprint.
It also guarantees fresh produce that hasn't been frozen in transit. That's why wherever possible our meat comes from our own farm or a butcher in Market Harborough.
We even have a wine from an English vineyard, Coolhurst!
We also hire locally, with the majority of our staff living in the village or nearby. This means many of us have an easy commute by walking to work!
